Trolls live in Norway. Under bridges. Although they have a reputation for being cranky and unpredictable, the ones we saw were generally ugly but smiling. It was most surprising to see a real live troll on the ship we took down the coast. I had a hard time surreptitiously snapping a picture of him, so you'll just have to take my word for it that the white haired man with the big nose under the Norwegian flag was actually a troll in person.

Those trolls are totally real little people. They look just like their pictures in books.
